As a BedRock Operating Systems Security Engineer you will:
- Develop novel operating systems, kernel hardening techniques, exploit mitigations, and behavior detection/analysis mechanisms.
- Implement VMI-based policy enforcement and operating system hardening mechanisms for various operating systems/kernels (e.g., Linux, Windows, VxWorks, QNX).
- Work together with VMI experts to build these capabilities on various hardware architectures (x86, ARM).
You could be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Can display deep understanding of operating system kernels and their internals (data structures, mechanisms, APIs, etc) as well as a broad understanding of the OS ecosystem as a whole (library loading, APIs, file formats, etc) for one or more of the following operating systems:
- Experience programming in C or C++
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of hardware virtualization
- Vulnerability assessment and exploitation expertise
- Reverse engineering experience
- Open source contributions/projects in the domain
- Active US Security Clearance
