With this year’s event focusing on “Leveraging Innovation to Meet Future Challenges,” I am excited to connect with others who are addressing the technology and cybersecurity questions of today and tomorrow.

Safeguarding U.S. Critical Infrastructure from Persistent, Sophisticated Attacks

In this panel discussion, we will be sharing insights on how to address the need for increased security investment and sector-specific focus to deflect cybercriminal attacks. I will be joined by co-panelists including Gary Dodd, Bonneville Power Administration; Ben Miller, Dragos; Robert Tafoya, Juniper Networks; and David White, Axio.
A year after the Colonial Pipeline attack demonstrated the havok a cyberattack could wreak on daily life, it’s more important than ever that we encourage cross-industry collaboration – including organizations across public and private sectors – to advance IT, innovation, and cybersecurity within the government and energy sector. Drawing upon my experience with cybersecurity architectures and frameworks in government, commercial, and critical industries/infrastructure, I am honored to have the opportunity to share best practices and lessons learned with event attendees.
