Bob Tinker | CEO
Bob is CEO and Co-founder of BedRock. Prior to BedRock, Bob was the founder and CEO of MobileIron, which he led from its initial founding to over $150M in revenue, 12,000 enterprise customers, and IPO in 2014. It was named the #1 fastest growing tech company from 2009-2013 by Deloitte’s Fast 500 Index. Prior to MobileIron, Bob was the VP of Business Development at enterprise wireless pioneer Airespace. Cisco acquired Airespace in 2005 for $450M. He has a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford. Bob also authored two books on building B2B companies. Book 1 “Survival to Thrival, Building the Enterprise Startup” was released in 2018. Book 2 “Change or be Changed” was released in July 2019.
Osman Ismael | Co-Founder & CTO
Osman Ismael is CTO and Co-founder of BedRock Systems Inc. Prior to his current role he served 12 years as a founding member and distinguished Engineer at FireEye. Osman helped lead and build projects at Sun Microsystems and Sun Microsystems Labs, where he spent 8+ years as staff engineer and Senior Staff Engineer. He served as a Senior Software Architect at Terraspring, acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002. Osman has an extensive background in virtualization, cyber security, operating systems, networking and holds over 30 patents in these industries.
John Walsh | SVP Business Development & Strategy
John Walsh is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for BedRock Systems Inc. Prior to this role, John was Chief Strategy and Technology Officer at BlackRidge Technology International, Inc. (BRTI), VP Secure Technology Group Analog Devices (ADI), President of Sypris Cyber Solutions (SYPR), and President of Ducommun (DCO). John is considered one of the leaders in the development/implementation of Zero Trust that enables legacy and heterogeneous environments. He has a distinguished and broad background in high assurance systems security, securing the IoT/IIoT, securing semiconductors, Assured Identity and Identity Confidence, cryptographic key management, and the implementation of security assurance frameworks for the development and delivery of secure products/solutions. John holds 11 identity architecture-related patents with additional patents pending.
Josh Dobies | VP Products
Josh Dobies is Vice President of Products at BedRock Systems, Inc. Prior to joining BedRock, Josh served as Vice President of Product Marketing at Riverbed Technology where he led go-to-market strategy and execution for Cloud and Network Infrastructure business practices spanning WAN optimization, SD-WAN, Edge Computing and Wireless Networking portfolios. While at Riverbed, he also served as Director of Product Management for storage and data center solutions and managed strategic research and new product introduction programs within the office of the CTO. With over 20 years of experience, Josh previously held senior product and engineering positions at Oracle/Sun Microsystems, Scale8 and IBM Almaden Research Lab.
Efi Gatmor | VP Engineering
Efi Gatmor is the Vice President of Engineering at BedRock Systems Inc. Prior to joining BedRock, he spent 5 years at Riverbed Technology as VP of Engineering and Technology, leading a global architecture team and focusing on next generation products and systems. Prior to Riverbed, Efi was the VP of Engineering of the Cloud Networking BU at Akamai Technologies, leading a global team of 200 engineers. With 25 years of experience prior to Akamai, he has held various senior technology and management positions in R&D Executive Management, at Expand Networks, BMC, IDF and more.
